Hello and welcome. My name is Ben Robinson, I'm a frontend & backend Web Developer from the
North East of England. I build clean, creative and standards compliant websites, using varied technologies.
I'm Ben a professional web developer from Sunderland, UK currently working for Cravens.
I have been developing websites professionally for over 10 years working for agencies and freelance. Prior to that I was playing around online with a 36k connection on AOL and Compuserve.
Being a tech enthusiast I enjoy learning about new, well, technology. At present I'm working with iPhone development for both Cravens and myself and learning about real world digital interaction with an arduino. I'm also enjoying working with django a Python based Framework and Rails a Ruby Framework.
I take pride in creating standards compliant XHTML, CSS and PHP ensuring all code is well written and commented. Some of the technologies I use are listed below.
I'm also a real enthusiast for new web technologies, tools, and applications and spend a great amount of time trying them out and looking for ways to incorporate them into real-world applications.
